What's new around CLC this week?
Notes from the Operations Manager:
Things have been busy here in the office. The past two weeks have gone by like a whirlwind! Both the Training Hour and Life Groups kicked off this past week; thanks to YOU things got off to a successful start! Last Sunday morning classes were full, the fellowship hour was enjoyable, and our Worship service kicked off smoothly at it's new time - 10:30! Life groups also had a good showing. If you weren't able to join in these exciting events this past week, please know that you can jump in this week; in fact, we encourage it.
For those of you who are not taking part in Training Hour classes this go around, think about coming early to grab free coffee and goodies during the fellowship time (9:45-10:30am). What could be better than free food and fellowship before the service starts?! Participating in the fellowship hour also allows you to get to church a little early and be settled in when the worship service starts. From my vantage point, this past Sunday was the largest crowd I've ever seen seated at the start of service(woohoo!). Our worship was more focused because of it!
In other news: We are excited to announce that we have brought on Ryan DiSabatino as our new Service coordinator for Sunday Morning Worship Services. We hope this new addition to the team will help Sunday mornings run even smoother. Also, Luissa will be increasing her role in the office to 10 hours a week. This will allow her to take on more responsibility administratively, and will allow me to do more on the Operations end of things.
We are working hard to keep the website full of important information and as up-to-date as possible. Hopefully, as we move forward, it will become an even better resource for you, the church, and those visiting CLC. If you have any comments about how we can improve it, please send us a quick and let us know what your thoughts are to make this a better tool.
Have a wonderful weekend, everyone!
Sarah : )
